The best way to improve your language skills after mastering the basics is to use it (of course). This class gives you the chance to improve reading and conversational skills. Each week you and fellow students read a chapter of the book, then discuss it in class … with the help of a native speaking teacher.
Hanyu Feng (汉语风) means “Chinese Breeze”. It is the name of a series of graded readers. The books are written in Chinese characters without pinyin subscripts. This class uses books from the “300” level, which means it assumes you have a grasp of first 300 Chinese words on the HSK scale.
