Hanyu Feng (汉语风) means “Chinese Breeze”.  It is the name of a series of graded readers. The books are written in Chinese characters without pinyin subscripts. The language is relatively easy and new words are introduced gradually.  Each quarter the class reads a book from this series and discusses the details.

This class uses books from third level of this series. It is called the “750” level, because it assumes you can read at least the first 750 Chinese words on the HSK list. (Click on the image for a more information about the book.
