The first 45 seconds of conversation from this FluentU video uses lots of words we have learned so far. There are also a handful of new words (high lighted in bold), check the vocabulary list below for the words you don’t know or can’t remember.

Please note, the actors are using a different pronunciation for “zhè” (this). In class, the pronunciation like the j-u in “just”, but the actors pronounce it more like the “jay” in “scrub-jay”. This is a regional dialect of Norther speakers.

Click on the player button and read the transcript while listening to the dialog. The recording is 20% slower than the video. Listen a few times, until you can pick up all the words.  Then click on the video link and watch. This will help you move the material into long term memory.
